Mission Statement


Recognizing the value of cultural diversity and a changing population, the SCOE through effective leadership, coordinated services, staff development, and partnerships among school, family, and community will enable public education to meet the needs of our students and maximize potential for lifelong learning.

Strategic Plan

Strategy 1
We will restructure the SCOE for effective implementation of the strategic plan priorities.

We will establish a system to determine the relevancy and accountability of new and existing services.

We will develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communications systems.

We will pursue partnerships with the community to support education for excellence.

We will coordinate a staff development process which addresses the needs of the employees of the SCOE and the schools within the county.
