and Program
This committee
is comprised of SELPA administrators, district and county office
business officials and program staff. It offers a forum to
review Special Ed activities as they impact both the program
side as well as the fiscal side. SELPA policies are reviewed
and recommendations are proposed by this committee to be taken
back to the Superintendents' Council for their consideration and
final determination. In addition, fiscal information that
impacts the districts' special education budget development
process is disseminated and discussed using the recently
developed budget development form. The committee's goal is to
provide recommendations as to the format to facilitate
communication and procedures for district budget development in
relation to special education.
