Attention: BTSA Induction Candidates Beyond Year Two

RE: Changes in BTSA Induction Requirements to Clear Credential

If you are using SCOE BTSA INDUCTION to clear your credential, your Induction requirements have changed dramatically.

We here at SCOE BTSA want to insure that your Induction process is a positive and successful one. It is important that we keep you informed and allow you opportunity to successfully clear your credential. You have moved beyond the first two years of BTSA and now have some outstanding requirements before we can recommend you for your clear credential.

Due to revisions in BTSA Induction standards and in compliance of Senate Bill 1209, the Induction components beyond your first two years of ‘base BTSA’ (the collaborative events you attended with a support provider) have changed.

We asked all Induction candidates that have completed ‘base BTSA’ to please contact the BTSA office immediately if you missed the advice and assistance meeting where we explained your outstanding Induction requirements and at that time allowed you to register for an SB 1209 Transitional Cohort (total of 12 hours) if needed.
