In addition to
those listed above, the programs listed below are operated by the
Child/Family Services
division of the Stanislaus County Office of Education. Funding for the programs listed
below are received through the
Child
Development Division of the
California Department of Education.
Information on the programs listed below can be received by

These programs serve over
600 migrant children in
Merced and
Stanislaus
Counties. Services are available to families
involved in agriculturally related work. Children served range in age from
infant through school age.
Eligibility is based on need and income. Parents may pay a fee based on
income.
This
state-funded program provides child development services to children from
three years to school age.
Services are available for approximately 40 children in the
Turlock area. Eligibility is based on need and
income.
The Federal Block
Grant/Alternative Payment (FBG/AP) and State Alternative Payment (AP)
programs serve eligible families receiving child care in
Stanislaus
County. These state funded
programs provide services and subsidies for children birth to 13 years of
age who need care. Children incapable of caring for themselves may
be served to age 18 in the FBG/AP program and age 21 in the AP
program. Parents/Guardians have the right to choose child care that
is most appropriate to their needs, as long as the child care provider
works within the regulations of the programs. Eligibility for the
programs is determined by need, family size and income.
