Family Child Care Orientation Registration

Welcome to the Child Care Resource & Referral Family Child Care Orientation Registration webpage. In order to register to attend an orientation, you must have already paid your $25 per person registration fee to California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing.

Step 1

Step one to becoming a licensed family child care home is to call our office at (209) 238-6300 to be added to our mailing list. Every two weeks, we will fax to Community Care Licensing in Fresno the mailing list of people interested in attending an orientation. CCL will then send you introductory information.

Step 2

If you're still interested, then you need to send a check in the amount of $25 to CCL. CCL will send you a receipt for your $25.

Step 3

After receiving your receipt, you can fill out the form below or call us to sign up for an orientation. In order to register to attend an orientation, be sure to have your 6-digit receipt # from Community Care Licensing with you when completing this form. If you have yet to receive your receipt, you have to wait until it arrives. You can not sign up for an orientation nor attend an orientation without your receipt.

It's very important to complete each field with the correct information.

On the day of your Orientation, you need to do the following:

· BRING YOUR RECEIPT from Dept of Social Services, Community Care Licensing

· For directions, buy a map or go to Mapquest.com

· Bring a photo ID

· Bring pen and paper

· DO NOT bring children

· Be on time!! They will close the doors and not allow late entry.
