The role of the assessor is to interview students, either in English or in one of the target languages, to determine their proficiency in that language. Assessors will be trained and provided a list of questions designed to elicit extended responses and a rubric. After engaging students in an approximately 10-12 minute conversation, assessors will score students' language proficiency using that rubric.
Assessors should have competency in either English or one of the target languages. No other expertise is required!
