County Board of Education

Regular meetings of the Stanislaus County Board of Education are open to the public and are generally held on the second Tuesday of each month* at 8:30 a.m.** and are generally held in-person in the Board Room of the Stanislaus County Office of Education (1100 H Street, Modesto, CA 95354) unless otherwise announced.

*July meeting date is tentatively scheduled based on county office business needs.

**The September Board meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. annually.

Expulsion Appeals

The County Board of Education is the local appellate body for most types of student expulsion appeals from districts within Stanislaus County. Staff provides support to the Board and acts as a liaison between the school districts and parents on matters related to student expulsions. Interdistrict Attendance Appeals

The County Board of Education is the local appellate body for most types of interdistrict transfer denials, which is the request to attend a district outside of your district of residence boundaries. Staff provides support to the Board and acts as a liaison between the school districts and parents on matters related to interdistrict attendance appeals.
