ELPAC Administration Training, Summative Assessment
State and Federal law require that local educational agencies administer a state test of ELP to eligible students in TK through grade twelve. This workshop covers the Summative Assessment of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) only. Participants will need to attend a separate workshop to be certified for the Initial Assessment.
Those in attendance will learn to reliably and validly administer the ELPAC, score the writing and speaking items through a calibration process, and receive certification to administer the summative ELPAC Assessment at the completion of the workshop.*
*per CDE requirements, participants must remain the entire session to receive certification
Important:
Because of testing differences for K-5 and 6-12, it is highly recommended that districts send two people to be certified.
