Career Inspiration Center
The Career Inspiration Center is an exciting and innovative program that includes hands-on learning and career pathway awareness opportunities for Stanislaus County 7th-12th graders of partnering school districts, which include Stanislaus County Office of Education, Ceres, Denair, Hickman, Hughson, Keyes, Patterson, Riverbank, Salida, Sylvan, and Waterford.
The Career Inspiration Center focuses on 4 career pathways which include Technology, Health, Agriculture, and Manufacturing industry sectors. Students from the partnering school districts are bussed to the Career Inspiration Center @ Teel and participate in activities throughout the year. Modesto Junior College provides after-school field trips on the 4 career pathways for 7th - 12th graders. Stanislaus State University provides college student facilitators, additional college awareness support, and student access opportunities.
Students who participate in the program also have access to additional resources and program offerings, which may include summer workshops, field trips to businesses, educational programs, internships, industry-recognized certifications, and an end-of-year culminating activity.
The following businesses and post-secondary agencies offering program support and guidance include Gallo, VOLT Institute, Bay Valley Tech, Medical Society, Institute of Technology, Modesto Junior College, Stanislaus State, and Ag Safe.
