Why Attend?
Learn how to support social-emotional and trauma-informed art learning for students and teachers through the Stanislaus SEL Art Project. The purpose of the Stanislaus SEL Art Project is to utilize research-based visual arts and trauma-informed strategies to enhance and support the social-emotional competencies of transitional kindergarten through sixth grade sudents in Stanislaus County through a professional development module for teachers. This hands-on module engages participants in research-based art activities designed with the whole child and self in mind. Participants will experience lessons, and engage in discussions regarding how to align activities to their own practice and standards-based learning.
