A Message from Thomas Solomon
I’m honored to serve as the Chairperson of the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County, and I want to personally thank you for your interest in this Foundation. Because of the generous support from this community, the Foundation has given over $1,225,000 to programs that touch students of all grades across public, private and home school programs.
If you have had the opportunity to observe or participate in any of Student Events Program as a parent, judge or mentor, you have seen first-hand what a difference these programs make to students and how they change lives positively.
Parents comment constantly about the exciting changes they see in their children when they return from Foothill Horizon Outdoor Education. Being a past 6th grade student-camper and counselor, I can personally attest to the wonderful experience Foothill provides.
The community as a whole is continually amazed at the Broadway-like quality of what the Youth Entertainment Stage (YES) Company is able to produce with talented students from all over the county. This is a partnered program with the Gallo Center for the Arts.
Studies show that participation in programs like the three we support help improve academic performance and test scores. Involved students are more likely to graduate from high school, participate in community service, and be more involved in their communities regardless of socio-economic background.
The Education Foundation values you as a key member of our community as a past or future donor.
The students of Stanislaus County are worth your investment! Click here to donate.
