Public School Waivers/Re-Opening Plans
Stanislaus County’s transition back to the Purple Tier (November 16) of the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy and the December 3 state announcement for regional stay-at-home orders, does not impact schools currently open for TK – 6th-grade instruction. Education is considered an “essential” activity by the State – not a gathering – and, therefore, is not impacted by the State’s recently updated guidance and orders.
Schools in the county that are currently operating in-person have developed reopening plans and are implementing them with the guidance provided by the California Public Health Department and Stanislaus County Health Services Agency. These plans provide layers of protective measures, including face coverings, physical distancing, testing, contact tracing, health screenings, and regular cleaning and disinfection. As a result of these safety measures, schools in the county will continue to serve students on campus.
Below are the Public Elementary School reopening plans and/or waivers, listed by District. Links will be live as plans are submitted.
