Jr. High & High School Music Festival

The Stanislaus County Music Educators Association and Stanislaus County Office of Education co-sponsor the High School Music Festival. Outstanding guest conductors work with an auditioned honor band and honor orchestra and a festival choir made up of outstanding students who are recommended by their high school music teachers. Each year three high school music teachers assume the role of group managers for this event led by a high school festival coordinator. Students from throughout Stanislaus county come together to rehearse the music and learn new techniques under the direction of an outstanding conductor. The festival culminates with performances of the High School Band, Orchestra and Choir.
