The Department of Student Support Services provides referrals, coordinates services, and develops programs that support the continual growth and development of children, families, and schools in improving educational achievement for all students. Prevention and intervention support services are provided through collaboration and cooperation with interagency partners and private agencies within Stanislaus County. The department’s purpose is to coordinate support services and programs designed to educate the whole child cognitively, emotionally, and socially so that each student becomes a productive citizen, prepared to live and work in our global society.
Student Support Advocates

Student Support Advocates can provide resources and referrals for pregnant/parenting teens, foster care and help for students struggling with homelessness. They work with classroom teachers, support staff and administrators to develop and implement goals for students and monitor progress toward success.
