Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
  • Three units Infant/Toddler Care Development required.
  • Two years experience providing instruction to children in an early childhood setting is preferred.

Licenses and Other Requirements:

  • Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification

Substitute Associate Teacher

  • Full Year Itinerant Associate Teacher
  • Full Year Preschool Associate Teacher
  • Infant/Toddler Educator
  • Itinerant Associate Teacher
  • Preschool Associate Teacher

  • Valid Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from high school required. Three to six units Infant/Toddler Care Development required based on Permit held.
  • A minimum of one year experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.

Licenses and Other Requirements:

  • Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification
  • California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit with a minimum 3 units infant/toddler care and development required.

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, provides center-based educational caregiving program for infants/toddlers and preschoolers that meet the Performance Standards of early childhood programs and other appropriate guidelines.
