State and Federal Programs, Assessment and Accountability

State and Federal Programs provides guidance and support to districts/schools in the continuous improvement cycle.  Our focus is to bring together the local, state, and federal requirements for English Language Learners, LCFF/LCAP, Assessment, and Accountability through networks, resources, and professional training.  These networks act to provide administrators with a forum to regularly meet with colleagues, to ask questions, and to receive updated information on changes in state and federal program requirements.

Mission Statement

Mission Statement

The Department of School and District Support provides regular meetings and email list support to the county’s directors of state and federal programs.  Because districts are required to file a Consolidated Application to request funds to implement multiple state and federal education programs, directors of state and federal programs frequently have questions in areas such as compliance monitoring or effective instructional practices associated with these programs.  The State and Federal Network acts to provide these administrators with a forum to regularly meet with colleagues, to ask questions, and to receive updated information on changes in state and federal program requirements.
