Information Systems

The Information Systems Department at the Stanislaus County Office of Education provides information systems and database support for the County Office and twenty-five local school districts. From training and support to online development and project management, we strive to provide high quality customer service and proven technical skills.

  • Information Systems provides QSS/QCC support services to SCOE and  twenty-five local school districts that use the Harris/Oasis Finance, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, Invoice Billing Management (IBM), Position Control, Absence Tracking, PO/Requisition Routing and Payroll system. 

  • We support the QSS Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal where SCOE and local school district employees can access their individual payroll information, leave (absences) information and more.

  • We support Laserfiche, a document and business management workflow system, which is implemented in many SCOE departments and local school districts. 

  • We support the SCOE Website, which has a new and improved design that is ADA compliant and accessible to all.

  • Additional areas of support include QCC and Laserfiche training, custom web development, analysis, testing, and technical guidance to serve SCOE and local school districts.

How do I learn more about Laserfiche?

1. Attend a class at SCOE. Check our SCOE Events page or Technology Training Calendar to search for a list of class offerings. To schedule a class that is not currently scheduled, contact the Information Systems Department. District users submit a ticket request at https://districthelpdesk.stancoe.org. SCOE users submit a ticket request at https://helpdesk.stancoe.org

How do I report a technical issue?

Please submit a ticket describing your technical issue. SCOE users report using this link: https://helpdesk.stancoe.org and District users report using this link: https://districthelpdesk.stancoe.org. Once a ticket is submitted, one of our dedicated staff members will be happy to assist you. If the issue needs immediate attention, please call the Help Desk at (209) 238-4357.

Why doesn't my username and password work in ESS?

If your district has signed up to use ESS (or you are an employee of SCOE), first check to see that you have registered for ESS (please follow this guide). Also, when you are logging in make sure you have selected the correct district from the drop-down box  in the upper right-hand side of the screen. How do I see what training sessions are available to attend?

Check out the SCOE Events page or the Technology Training Calendar for available classes. For any training classes not scheduled, we encourage tickets requests for DISTRICT employees at https://districthelpdesk.stancoe.org and SCOE employees at https://helpdesk.stancoe.org

How do I learn more about QCC?

There are a variety of ways to learn about QCC:

  1. Attend a class at SCOE. Check out our SCOE "Events" page to search for any QCC training classes. To schedule a QCC training that is not currently scheduled,  SCOE users may submit a request at https://helpdesk.stancoe.org and District users may submit a request at https://districthelpdesk.stancoe.org.
  2. Use the Help menu within the QCC software to access manuals and video tutorials.
  3. Visit our Quick Tips and Videos page for additional tips and tutorials.
