John B. Allard Scholarship
The Stanislaus County Scholarship Advisory Committee is pleased to announce that the John B. Allard scholarship will be awarded the amount of $300 to a minimum of one student.
Criteria to Apply
- Students who plan to pursue a career in education. ONLY APPLICANTS PURSUING A CAREER IN EDUCATION WILL BE CONSIDERED (i.e., teaching, administration, instructional aide, etc.).
- Earned a 2.8 grade point average (GPA) during the sophomore and junior years
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school activities
- The recipient will be expected to attend either a two or a four-year college or university
- Graduating seniors in high schools throughout Stanislaus County
Required Attachments to Upload with Application:
File Uploads: MUST Name file (Last Name, First Name_file type) ex: "Jones, Dan_Letter of Character Reference"
- One Page Autobiographical Essay (including activities and future plans)
- Two Letters of Character References
- 10th and 11th Grade transcripts to verify GPA
Once the required attachments are ready to upload, please complete the Scholarship Application.
The Stanislaus Scholarship Foundation's Advisory Committee coordinates several student scholarships annually. The 2022-23 school year applications will be due March 28, 2023. Click on the selected SCOE scholarship and community scholarships listed to the right. Review the cover page, which lists the criteria for each scholarship. Once you have gathered all of the required attachments, please complete the paper application as well as data submission linked and send in hard copies to the Administrative Services Division by the deadline (not postmarked). Scholarship winners will be announced in April.
The 2023 Winners of the Allard Scholarship are Tyler Cooley, Micah Kakuno, and Audrey Songer of Oakdale High School. Congratulations!
