District Business Services

The District Business Support Department provides services to school districts.  Finance and Compliance Technical Support (FaCTS), and Payroll and Retirement Compliance (PaRC) provide a large variety of advisory and technical support services to the districts in the county.  Services include accounting and budgeting assistance, fiscal solvency oversight, attendance and enrollment projections and monitoring, property tax & LCFF assistance, apportionments, Standardized Account Code Structure (SACS) support, monthly payroll processing, bi-weekly commercial vendor payment processing, and audits/compliance matters.  Also, this department provides direct support services for six Direct Service districts.  This service involves assisting the Direct Service districts in their various business office activities including data entry for payroll and vendor payments, budget development, budget monitoring, and preparation of the required state reports.
