Communications Department
The Communications Department provides a wide variety of communications and public relations services to support SCOE staff, programs and county school districts.
SCOE Updates
The Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) works regularly with school and media personnel to help get the word out about what’s happening in schools throughout the county.
County Office staff have contacts in local print, television, and radio news departments, and can help educators with strategies for working with the media.
Internally, SCOE produces a variety of publications and documents to keep the more than 1,200 people working for SCOE informed.
Another important aspect of SCOE communications is to facilitate partnerships between schools and businesses. These include internships for college students, sponsorships of school the attendance initiative, and student and staff recognition programs.
SCOE recognition programs include the annual Salute to Teachers event, where the county’s teachers of the year are announced, as well as efforts that shine a spotlight on deserving educators and students throughout the county.
