Join us for this special day when we open our campus to visitors!  This is your opportunity to see our facilities and tour our Dorms, Dining Hall, Campus and hike our trails!  

We will be leading activities, selling Foothill merchandise and offering guided tours and hikes.

This is the perfect opportunity to ask our staff questions about your child's future visit to Foothill, or to see the campus if you haven't yet.

There are quite a few skills involved in being able to earn a badge with the criteria that are required within a typical badge description. Arts integration is exciting – it makes learning more engaging and relevant for learners! Join us for this practical and affirming session examining how to write and teach integrated art units. Attendees will  define arts integration, use a checklist for integrating the arts, explore how to use different planning tools to write an arts integrated unit, and learn about different places to source for inspiration for integrated arts lessons and units. Attendees will additionally engage in a hands-on art-making activity, and receive a completed arts integrated unit.

Caregivers and service providers will gain a better understanding of families that they are working with by exploring the stages of grief: Denial, Bargaining, Anger, Surrender and Acceptance. We will discuss how trauma impacts the grief process, how grief and loss affects children and ways to help them process grief.

Managing Non-Digital Work Samples in a Digital Age using Rocketbook

In this session, we will explore Rocketbook App features and hacks which assist teachers, or anyone, in collecting and organizing evidence of authentic and expressive student work and digital documents.  A smartphone or tablet (either Apple or Android) will enrich the experience.  It is recommended that participants bring their own Rocketbook (if they have one) and download the free Rocketbook App to their mobile device prior to the session to minimize internet-related delays.
