Resiliency: The What and the How!

Date: February 26, 2020
Time: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

This workshop looks at the concept of resiliency and introduces learnable characteristics to bolster resiliency. It was once thought that an individual’s level of resiliency was simply set in stone, either they had it or they didn't. Current research shares that there are actually several learnable practices that once incorporated can actually increase a sense of resiliency resulting in healthier ways of handling life’s various struggles and challenges.

Our trainer, Jennifer Johnson, LCSW, is a local mental health therapist as well as an instructor at CSU Stanislaus where she teaches in the MSW program.
