Course Overview

This 5-week hybrid course empowers educators to integrate Generative AI into their daily teaching practice while critically examining its ethical, environmental, and societal implications. Participants will explore advanced AI tools, design AI-enhanced learning experiences, and develop strategies for guiding students in responsible AI use.

Learning Objectives

• Apply Generative AI tools to streamline instructional tasks and personalize learning.

• Design classroom activities that incorporate AI ethically and effectively.

• Analyze the environmental, societal, and personal costs of AI technologies.

• Facilitate student discussions and projects around responsible AI use.

• Develop and expand policies and classroom norms for student interaction with AI that are in line with your district’s or organization’s AI governance policies.
