This workshop explores how thoughtfully designed Calming Corners can provide students with structured opportunities to regulate emotions, manage stress, and return to learning. Participants will examine developmentally appropriate design considerations, strategies for introducing and maintaining calming spaces, and ways to foster student ownership and independence in self-regulation practices.
