Designed for educators working in alternative education, juvenile justice, continuation, community school, and other high-needs settings, this workshop explores practical strategies for fostering connection, regulation, belonging, and engagement. Participants will experience activities from the WAVES (Wellness, Art, Values, Expression, and SEL) Toolkit, receive access to select lessons, and learn how creative, trauma-informed practices can help students build skills for success in school and beyond.

This workshop supports the following CA Dashboard Indicators: Academic Performance, English Learner Progress, Graduation Rate, Chronic Absenteeism.
