NGSS Middle School Network

Grade-Alike: NGSS Middle School Network meetings are gatherings by grade level or specialty areas, held after school hours. 

Join us for the NGSS Middle School Networking
Nights. Our goal is to provide middle school teachers
and leaders the opportunity to network and to
collaboratively address needs specific to science
instruction. More specifically, the networking nights
will focus on classroom strategies, phenomenon-based
and NGSS-aligned sample lessons, and sharing
resources.

Foothill Horizons Outdoor School to Dedicate “Carl’s Campfire Circle" in Honor of Carl Boyett

The Stanislaus County Office of Education and Foothill Horizons Outdoor School will hold a special dedication ceremony to commemorate the official opening of “Carl’s Campfire Circle” on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Foothill Horizons in Sonora (21925 Lyons Bald Mountain Road).  Every year, 6,000 students from Stanislaus County participate in three to five days of interactive science education at Foothill Horizons overnight facility in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
