SCOE Receives State and National Recognition for Marketing Efforts

The Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) recently received statewide and national recognition for several marketing projects from the California School Public Relations Association (CalSPRA) and the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).  Each of these organizations works to create a climate for better public understanding, commitment and support of public education. Through annual awards programs, they recognize outstanding education publications, e-newsletters, digital media programs, radio/TV/video programs, social media, infographics, blogs and websites.

SCOE’s Communications and Graphics team, including Judy Boring, Cynthia Fenech, and Katie Teixeira, received the following awards:

  • Annual Report – A Look Back at 2020, Award of Excellence, from both CalSPRA and NSPRA
  • Infographics - Come Back Kids, Award of Merit, NSPRA. This was a series of digital marketing ads promoted through social media to promote the Come Back Kids program.
  • Public Service Announcement Video Series, Award of Merit, NSPRA. The series of videos focused on social and emotional wellness. Videos were promoted on SCOE’s social media sites and aired on local television stations.
