Previously certified teachers for Expository Reading and Writing Curriculum at the high school level are cordially invited to attend the ERWC 3.0 Update.  This prfessional learning provides a preview of the 3rd edition which will be launched in June of 2019.  This hands-on update is designed to familiarize teacher with

  • Revised ERWC curriculum for English language arts (ELA) course at grade 12
  • New ERWC ELA course at grade 11
  • Specific modules with integrated and designated English languge development (ELD) at grades 9-12

English Learner Leadership Network (ELLN) is a venue for collaboration and professional development.  It’s to support district and school personnel whose responsibility is to promote linguistic and academic success with English Learners.  Through these meetings, participants will:

  • Learn and share best practices for meeting the academic and social emotional needs of English learners
  • Stay abreast of state and federal guidance for meeting the needs of English learners
  • Network with other educators working to support the needs of English learners

Candidates Returning from 18-19

Welcome back for your second year!  There are a few things that you will need to take care of to begin Induction year 2.

Progressing to Year 2 of Induction requires completing and passing Year 1.  If you have not completed Year 1 in its entirety, you will be unable to participate in Induction this year.  Contact induction [ahtsym] stancoe [dhotsym] org with any questions.
