Date: February 20, 2018
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 PM
Hosted by: Alicia Wohnhas and Karen Walden

This training will briefly review the recent Endrew F. case and its impact on court decisions in regards to how IEP documents are being written. In depth information will be given on writing legally complaint goals that address the unique characteristics of the student they are created for. We will also cover how to write detailed present levels, descriptive baselines, goals that are directly connected to its baseline, and progress reports that reflect the language of the goal. Examples will be given describing how to connect the dots between these pieces, in order to create a cohesive and legally defensible IEP.

Target Audience- Teachers, Behavior Analysts, Program Specialists or anyone creating IEP documents.
