Over 500 Stanislaus County high school students will converge on the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock on Thursday, March 17, 2022, for the 36th Annual Occupational Olympics and Career Exposition (OOCE). The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Stanislaus County Office of Education’s Leadership Academy is now accepting applications from students who will be juniors or seniors during the 2022-2023 school year. The application deadline is April 8, 2022. Students can apply by going to the following webpage: https://la.stancoe.org/.

Budding young scientists from throughout the region are gearing up to participate in the 38th Annual Stanislaus County Regional Science Olympiad slated for March 11, 2023, at Modesto Junior College (West Campus Science Center). The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and will end with the awards ceremony, held inside the Agriculture Pavilion, at 4:30 p.m. More than 500 students representing area junior and senior high school students will participate in the day-long event. The public is invited to attend. Admission and parking are free.

The annual Stanislaus County Mock Trials event took place on February 2, 7, 9 & 16 at the Stanislaus County Courthouse, 800 11th Street, Modesto. The championship round was held at the Stanislaus County Office of Education on March 2.
